Birdie

  • Breed: DSH-white with gray spots
  • Gender: Female
  • DOB: 2015-01-14
  • Size: Medium
  • Hair: Short

Birdie was found on a golf course, thus the name Birdie. She had a litter of kittens with her. A good Samaritan found homes for all the kittens, but Birdie was left behind. She was friendly and sweet so she was quickly placed with HELP. She came to me and I found out she certainly was not a “feral” cat. She head bumps, rubs up on me and is friendly and not a Scaredy cat. She is medium size about 9 pounds. So far, she is not happy with the resident cats, but I think she will acclimate with other pets with patience. One of her eyes is clouded over with a previous injury. It requires no further treatment as it is healed. She probably can see only light in that one eye.
She will make a wonderful pet for the right home! She is a quiet unobtrusive couch potato, totally litter trained, neat, tidy and friendly. A short brushing every once in a while is all she will need for grooming…oh and a nail clipping occasionally. Her needs are simple…..she would love a quiet, preferably adult home, possibly a mellow cat or two, a Sunny window, and she is in heaven. We don’t know about dogs and children. I think that children would be a little bored with her because she is not an active cat. The adoption fee of $100.00 includes up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, Felk/FIV test neg and vet checks. She is ready to go to her forever home!
