We adopted Madison last January from HELP after seeing her picture on the internet. The boys fell in love with her right away. Becky, her foster mom, did an outstanding job beginning Madison's house training. She even knew how to shake paws! Madison has turned out to be a wonderful dog. We did puppy training classes and lots of socializing with all of the neighborhood dogs and children. She loves all dogs and people. Thank goodness HELP was there to help us along the way. Michelle calmed my fears and answered my questions! I highly recommend spending quality time training your puppy. They learn so fast, and Madison knows lots of tricks and has very good manners.
One quick Madison story - I walk her 2-3 miles every day. She has an uncanny ability to find lost baseballs, tennis balls, and golf balls. Most walks, she finds at least one ball. Her record is four baseballs and one golf ball on a walk though a park. She will suddenly dive into the tall grass or bushes, as though she is chasing a rabbit or squirrel. Out she pops with a ball. Even my husband has been impressed with her collection of balls.
Madison came into our house as a rescue puppy. Now she is a very special part of our family. Thank you HELP for our wonderful dog!
