We lost our beloved cat in June due to an illness. We all miss her very much. Our children’s birthdays are in December, so my husband and I decided to adopt a kitten for them. We took them to Petsmart to “look” at the kittens. It wasn’t until then that we told them we were getting one. They were very excited, and choose 3 to look at. We wanted one that would cuddle and play. They had a hard time choosing one. They each chose a different kitten. Then, one chose us. Copycat had been lying in the cage while the others played. When he knew it was decision time he showed his stuff! He came out, cuddled with each child, then started playing. Both kids said “THIS ONE!” We signed the papers and off we went! One the way home we wondered how he would get along with our 9 year old Labrador. She missed her best friend too. When we got home the two hit it off great! It was as if they had always been friends. Copycat, now Romo, fit in perfectly! He hasn’t stopped purring since he got here! It has been as if he has always lived here. He cuddles all of us including the dog! I catch him curled up between her paws! Romo has found his forever home! We thank H.E.L.P.S. for making this Christmas extra special for all of us!
