Luna is a DSH gray tabby with yellow eyes and looks very similar to her sister except for a more slender build and slim triangular face (which is where a few of her kittens got their looks)
Luna followed in her sister Freya’s pawsteps in coming to our front stoop looking for assistance when she was abandoned in July, 2023 during some of the hottest days of the summer. She was very affectionate and assisted her sister when she (Freya) first delivered her kittens and even helped co-parent the lot of 10 kittens. She definitely showed her patience with other cats/pets as she had to accommodate multiple kittens all trying to get her attention and often at the same time. Luna really had to grow up quickly, as she was thrust into motherhood at a young age; it took her some time to get the hang of things, but once she did she was a very supportive and caring mother. She continued to act motherly even up until the adoption of all of her babies. She can be a bit shy when on her own, but has recently begun to act very lively and rambunctious when playing with her sister Freya and foster parents.Luna can be talkative around meal time and occasionally will try to take the food from you if delayed in putting it down. She is very sweet and mild mannered, but appreciates playtime just like her sister. Luna gets along well with medium-sized dogs (we have two collies), and enjoys laying in open-air windows.
Luna has all her vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and tested negative for FELK and FIV as well as being cleared for all assessed fecal parasites. Her adoption fee is $150, which covers all her veterinarian bills and surgery. If you are interested in meeting an potentially adopting her the first step is to fill out an adoption application.
