Piper is the sweetest little fawn colored Chihuahua girl, giving kisses and wanting to be on your lap. She is social with other dogs…including a 86# lab mix to a small beagle, kitties, and people. She comes when called, and is 90% housetrained as long as you take her outside to potty often…she is a tiny 5# puppy girl so can’t hold out too long! Piper loves to sleep in her foster Mom’s bed, under the covers. She sleeps all night without a sound and no potty accidents! A home with someone home or working part time would be awesome for piper. Although she is good with children, smaller ones would be to much for her. She is just too tiny. Older children 8 yrs. plus would be best. As her foster Mom, I can’t say it enough that she is the sweetest little darling you could ever meet! She is 6 mos. DOB: 3-6-17, weighs 5#’s, And is a fawn colored Deer head Chihuahua. She is not a big barker, and has great indoor manners…loves to chew her soft Nylabones too! Piper is ready to find her Fur-Ever home where she will be held, loved on, and will be a BFF companion unconditionally!

Adoption Policy:

  • Complete an adoption application and submit it. You will receive an onscreen confirmation we received it.
  • Once your application is initially reviewed, we then contact your veterinarian and references. After that, a H.E.L.P. volunteer will contact you. Please be patient, this does take some time especially over a weekend. Please allow 24-72 hours for us to make contact with you.
  • All members of the family must be present in order to adopt. We want to make sure it's a good fit for everyone!
  • Because this is a life time commitment, once you meet the foster dog, there is a 24 hour waiting period for you to make sure that the fit is right for everyone. So many people see a cute face and want to take them home right away without really thinking about it. The waiting period also allows you to get supplies ready for your new one.
  • We do not ship dogs within or out of the state.

Fees:

  • Puppies 12 months and younger are $300.
  • Adult Dogs over 12 months and younger than 6 years old are $250.
  • Senior Dogs over 6 years are $100.
